On the 24th January, Shire Leasing will be at The Belfry Hotel and Resort sponsoring the pre-dinner drinks reception of the Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth Annual Dinner & Awards 2020, to celebrate the successes of local businesses.
Seven awards will be presented over the evening to businesses representing the three geographical areas, with over 250 attendees from various businesses gathered for the event.
As well as sponsoring the awards evening, Shire Leasing are also shortlisted for one of the awards – Lichfield & Tamworth Large Business of the Year – a great recognition of Shire’s achievements.
Established in 1990, the company was founded by two cousins and Shire has since grown to become one of the largest funders in the UK with an Own Book value exceeding £120m – still independently owned with a family ethos. Shire are also a key employer in the local area, with 170+ employees, of which 156 reside locally, living in or between Tamworth and Birmingham. Further to this, Shire are always looking at ways to give back in various ways, such as supporting local schools or fundraising events which generated over £11,500 for local and national charities in 2019.
