Suffering children have received life-saving vaccines, people with dementia have been given support, children worldwide have been granted the opportunity of attaining an education, and the list goes on… In the last 2 years, over 7 million people have been helped thanks to the money raised from Sport Relief.
On Friday 18th March, as part of our 2016 CSR initiative, we held our third charity day of the year to raise funds for Sport Relief. Our employees abandoned their shirts and ties and dressed down in sports clothes to help raise money that will support millions across the world. With employees making cash donations and Shire Leasing further matching these, in total a fantastic £262 was raised!
Of all the money raised by the public through Sport Relief, 50% is used to make a difference right here in the UK, and 50% goes towards transforming lives across the world’s poorest communities.
