Shire Leasing attended the 2019 Leasing World Awards Dinner at the Hilton London Bankside on 30th October, where we have proudly been awarded Top Independent Lessor, whilst our company solicitor Hemesh Chohan won the Next Generation award.

Hemesh beat four other shortlisted nominees to win the prestigious Next Generation award, recognising his outstanding service when supporting SMEs, unique delivery of company compliance training, and also leading an initiative to provide valuable work experience opportunities to more than 20 pupils from local schools in Tamworth.
Hemesh and his colleagues were inspired to offer tailored work experience placements in the company’s I.T., Legal and Finance departments after they realised, during company career talks in local schools, that many students were experiencing difficulties in securing placements that would later help them to find employment in an extremely competitive environment.
Hemesh said: “I am honoured to have won the Next Generation award… This award is a recognition of all the hard work my colleagues and I put into this initiative, but the real reward from creating these opportunities has been all the positive feedback from the students. These students are the business leaders of the future. I am proud to have contributed to helping them on their way and further supporting the next generation.”
