Shire Leasing took part in another dress down charity day on Friday 27th July 2018, this time in aid of Assistance Dogs UK. Everyone had their summer gear on, enjoying the nice weather and all for a very good cause.
With all Shire employees donating £1, and Shire Leasing matching employee donations, we were able to raise a fantastic £308.00. Well done everybody!
Over 7,000 disabled people in the UK rely on an assistance dog to help with everyday tasks. However these dogs are not just for practical assistance, they provide a priceless friendship with emotional support and allow independence. The next charity day falls in September where we are supporting Macmillan Cancer Support, with a cake and savoury day, including raffles, prizes and games.
