First charity day of the year a success
On Friday 26th January 2018, Shire held a donation day to help create Starter Packs for the young people in the St. Basils Project, the monthly charity selected as part of Shire Leasing’s CSR efforts.

On Friday 15th December 2017, Shire held a Christmas Jumper Day to raise funds for Save the Children, the monthly charity selected as part of Shire Leasing’s CSR efforts.
On the 17th of June, 4 of Shire’s finest ladies embarked on their 9 mile walk in Lichfield, known as the Solstice Walk. This is a major event where 100s of people dust off their childhood fairy wings and tutus, and head out to support St. Giles Hospice, a truly magical event.

As part of our CSR initiative, for the 2nd year running Shire employees have come together to hold a charity food drive to support the Tamworth Foodbank.
On Friday 23rd September, Shire Business Group held a Coffee and Cake Sale to fundraise for MacMillan Cancer Support.
Shire employees took part in the fifth charity day of the year, in line with our 2016 CSR initiative. This month, the charity we supported was the Nuneaton and Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary.
Suffering children have received life-saving vaccines, people with dementia have been given support, children worldwide have been granted the opportunity of attaining an education, and the list goes on… In the last 2 years, over 7 million people have been helped thanks to the money raised from Sport Relief.
